The Department of Special Investigation has delayed the prosecution of minor suspects on the Somchai Neelaphaijit case in order to prevent the masterminds from eluding the law, its director general Tharit Pengdit said on Thursday.
“It is not true that DSI has abandoned the case for the missing Muslim and human rights lawyer but in fact it is trying to unmask the masterminds,” he said, explaining his decision not to complete the investigative report at this juncture.
